If you have obtained a Master’s-level degree (Bac+5) from a public or private institution, in France or abroad, and you wish to become an Engineer at Polytech Clermont, this is possible through the Validation of Higher Education Studies (VES).

The Validation of Higher Education Studies (VES) allows the total or partial award of a state-recognized degree by recognizing prior higher education studies completed in a domain related to the targeted degree.

Admission

VES is open to employees, non-employees, job seekers, volunteers, French nationals or international candidates.

Eligibility Requirements

- Must have completed and validated higher education studies (Bac+5 / Master’s) related to the targeted degree (see downloadable RNCP datasheets)
- Each calendar year, a candidate may submit one application per degree and up to three applications if applying to different degrees.

Application
  • Procedure
The VES application must be accompanied by a complete file and all required supporting documents. This file should explicitly detail, in reference to the targeted degree, the knowledge and skills acquired during prior studies.
The file must include copies of diplomas (including transcripts and course programs), certificates, and any other documents allowing the validation jury to assess the level and nature of studies.

Proof of English proficiency at level B2 is also required.

After selecting the degree corresponding to your prior studies, complete the registration file HERE.

Costs
- Registration fee for the targeted degree: €628
- Eligibility study (administrative review and pedagogical assessment): €300
- Jury (fees related to preparation and conduct of the jury): €900
