Since its creation in 1969, Polytech Clermont has been working alongside companies through participation in the school’s committees, partnership agreements, class sponsorships, internships, payment of the apprenticeship tax, industrial contributions to training, organization of awards and challenges for engineering students, and more.

Polytech Clermont has a large network of over 600 industrial partners involved at various levels within the school: hosting interns, work-study students, educational interventions, participation in governance and development boards, organization of awards and challenges for engineering students.

Activities within the international relations office involve numerous institutions coordinated by several geographic axes:

  • The “Americas” axis includes universities from the USA, Canada, Mexico, and South America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia), offering multiple opportunities for study abroad, internships, and doctoral programs.
  • A major “Europe” axis with exchanges with universities in the EU as well as Central and Eastern Europe.
  • An “Asia-Pacific” axis (China, Australia, Japan, India, Taiwan).
  • An “Africa” axis supporting numerous training and cooperation actions, particularly strong in the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa.

International activities are supported and complemented by other crucial programs in the training strategy:

  • Application of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) ensuring recognition of studies abroad,
  • Erasmus+ programs supporting mobility,
  • Scholarships granted by local authorities.
