Created by students of Polytech Clermont, IDP Engineering provides expertise across the various specialties of Polytech Clermont.

Innovation and Development Polytech Engineering is a non-profit educational association under the French 1901 law. Its activity focuses on consulting missions for entrepreneurs, SMEs, or large international groups.

Students of IDP Engineering, from the various departments of Polytech Clermont (Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, and Data Science), carry out studies for companies, including an analysis phase, implementation, and final synthesis.

Since January 2023, IDP Engineering has joined the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises. It is also supported by IESF (Engineers and Scientists of France) and Polytech Clermont.
