Student Organizations and Clubs

The school benefits from a rich and diverse student association network. 3 out of 4 engineering students are involved in a student organization or club.

Student life is organized around 6 main associations:

• The BDE 53 - Student Union
• The BDA - Arts Council
• The BDS - Sports Council
• The BDP - Foundation Program Student Bureau (PeiP)
• The BDHE - Humanitarian and Environment Bureau
• IDP Ingénierie - Junior Enterprise

These associations include various clubs such as:

• C-Tronic, the robotics association
• Pingouins sans Frontières, the humanitarian association
• X-Dôme
• The Gala Committee
• Pompom Polytech Clermont-Ferrand - Cheerleading
• Poly'Act, the Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility club
• Polypride Clermont, the LGBTQ+ club

Each engineering department also has its own student association.

Polytech Network Events

Engineering students are part of the "Great Polytech Family." They are grouped within the Federation of Students of the Polytech Network. Throughout the year, they meet during network-wide events that promote cohesion and forge a strong network spirit.

• TIP (Inter-Polytech Tournament): rugby, football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading competition...
• Tournoi des Tigresses, a women's sports tournament
• TPN, Polytech Snow Tournament
• Beach Volleyball Tournament...

Finally, students from the school are elected each year as members of the BREI, the regional branch of the BNEI (National Bureau of Engineering Students).
