Polytech Clermont already trains engineers through apprenticeships in the Production Systems Engineering (GSP) specialization and will open from the 2026 academic year two new FISA programs (Initial Training under Apprentice Status) in the specializations Embedded Systems, Electrical Energy and Robotics (S3ER) and Biological Engineering (GB), in partnership with CFA Formasup Auvergne.
The application file can be submitted from February on the CFAI website.
On the homepage, click on the pre-registration tab (located at the top of the page). Then create your candidate account and complete the required information. The mandatory supporting documents to be uploaded during the online registration are:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Cover letter
- Degrees obtained and corresponding transcripts
- Post-secondary academic records
- ID document
The application is reviewed by the department committee, which invites eligible candidates for interviews based on the evaluation of their application.
A jury composed of professionals and faculty members is formed to conduct interviews (via video conference) with eligible candidates. The interview (45 minutes) consists of assessing the candidate’s openness, motivation, and includes a brief English test. The candidate’s active search for a host company is also an important factor taken into account.
If the eligible candidate does not yet have a company to sign an apprenticeship contract with, they will then be presented to partner companies by the CFAI. Admission will only be finalized once an apprenticeship contract has been signed.
