Students from Preparatory Classes for Grandes Écoles
If you have completed the French-language preparatory classes for grandes écoles (CPGE) in your country, you must apply to the Polytech network via the Polytech CPGE exams. If you are in the equivalent of a preparatory cycle of an engineering school, you must apply to the Polytech network via the competitive exam based on qualifications described below.
Students following a scientific program of bac +2 level or higher
If you are at bac +2 or higher abroad, or if you have validated a bac +2 or higher abroad, you can apply to the Polytech network via the Polytech competitive exam based on qualifications:
Series DE3 for bac +2 and bac +3. Admission takes place in the third year (first year of the engineering cycle)
Series DE4 for bac +4 or higher. Admission takes place in the fourth year (second year of the engineering cycle)
Whatever the access route to a Polytech program, if you are not a French national, you must quickly check the VISA requirements with your Campus France Space (ECF) and/or the embassy/consulate of your country of residence. ECFs are there to assist you in your procedures (orientation, CEF registration, visa, etc.).
