Recruitment for the student status engineering program at POLYTECH Clermont is common to the 15 schools of the Polytech network. Your application is unique and valid for all 16 schools, regardless of your academic background.
You are in a Preparatory Class for Grandes Écoles (CPGE)
- Application validation: All studies completed after the baccalaureate will determine the validity of the application and the specializations available. As BUT is a professionally oriented diploma, its specialization determines accessible fields (see the table of accessible specializations in 2025).
- Application file: If the application is validated, the candidate must complete and submit a single file for all eligible specializations.
- Eligibility: After evaluation of the application file, each candidate is declared either eligible or not eligible (publication of results on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 pm). Eligible candidates must schedule a single motivation interview, which will take place from June 11 to June 20, 2025.
- Admission:
Each eligible candidate who is not eliminated after the interview and who has ranked their preferred specializations is classified in each of them.
The first admission phase will take place on Thursday, June 26 at 2:00 pm.
The following phases will take place on July 4, July 17, August 22, and August 28.

You are in Bac+4 or higher
Admission for Bac+4 candidates takes place in the fourth year (second year of the engineering cycle).
Admission is based on application review and a motivation interview.
- Application validation: All studies completed after the baccalaureate determine the validity of the application.
- Application file(s): If the application is validated, the candidate must complete and submit one file per specialization applied for (maximum 3 specializations).
- Eligibility: After evaluation of the application file, each specialization declares the candidate eligible or not (publication of results on Friday, June 6 at 2:00 pm). Eligible candidates must schedule a single motivation interview, which will take place from June 11 to June 20. The interview will take place in the school of the highest-ranked specialization that declared the candidate eligible.
- Admission:
After the interview, each eligible candidate who is not eliminated is ranked in each specialization for which they were deemed eligible. Each candidate who has ranked their preferred specializations is classified accordingly.
The first admission phase will take place on Thursday, June 26 at 2:00 pm.
The following phases will take place on July 4, July 17, August 22, and August 28.
