From March 1 to 6, 2026, Marie-Charlotte Desforges and Jane Roche (International Relations Office, Polytech Clermont) participated in an Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Borås (Sweden) under the STA (Staff Mobility for Teaching) and STT (Staff Mobility for Training) programs.

This visit allowed the strengthening of exchanges with the teams of the Bioresources and Biotechnology Department, notably with Ilona Sàrvàri Horvàth, Swarnima Agnihotri, Linn Hultgren, and Sunil Kumar Ramamoorthy, and enabled the exploration of new perspectives for collaboration in teaching and research related to resource valorization.

Discussions focused on the development of a joint Master’s degree in resource recovery, as well as on the implementation of international educational programs such as Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) and COIL projects (Collaborative Online International Learning). Possible participation in the European Project Semester network was also discussed.

The mission also provided the opportunity to present Polytech Clermont and mobility opportunities to Bachelor’s and Master’s students, to exchange with PhD students and researchers, to attend a doctoral seminar, and to visit several laboratories (biotechnology, civil engineering, and textile).

Finally, this mobility coincided with the arrival in Borås of a Biological Engineering student from Polytech Clermont, who came to carry out their 4th-year internship.
